Cold Pressed Method. The cold pressing method is a method to extract oils from the seeds of plants and their fruits. It refers to juice that uses a hydraulic press to extract juice from fruit and vegetables, as opposed to other methods such as centrifugal or single auger.

The cold press method to extract oil from a nut or plant is to place the plant under pressure to squeeze the oil out.

Coconut‚ black cumin‚ sesame‚ argan and hemp oil are arguably best suited to being made and used when they are cold pressed. You can press more than 100 seeds and nuts.

Cold pressing is the method of oil extraction from oilseeds which may include sesame seed, sunflower seeds, canola, coconut Black Cumin, Sunflower, Safflower, Canola, Pumpkin Seed, Melon Seeds, Palm Seeds, Cumin Seed, Grape Seed, Coconut, Lauri Fructus, Apricot Seed, Sesame, Hazelnut, Peanut, Walnut, Opium Poppy, Flax Seed, Almond, Pistachio, Jajoba, Mustard Seed, Nettle Seed, Raspberry, Pepper Seed, Tomato Seed, Rose Hip, Jatropha, Pumpkin Seed, Cocoa Bean, Melon Seeds, Soy Beans, Blueberry Seed, Pistachio etc. without really using heat to extract as that may degrade the oil’s flavour and nutritional quality.

Do not use cold-pressed oil: You should not fry food in cold-pressed oils

Cold pressed oil retains most of its natural physiological and chemical properties and most importantly its original taste. Unlike cold pressed oil, hot pressed oil retains little of its natural composition

Of all these oils, organically produced cold-pressed oil is the most expensive solely because of its stupendous health endowments, flavour and richness. Also during the refining process chemicals are added to keep the oil from going rancid so that supermarkets can keep it longer on their shelves.

Cold-pressed virgin coconut oil is perfect for helping in the de-tangling of textured hair while it is damp, once the hair dries, the oil helps the curls or waves to become set as they had been combed, as a result, it provides beautiful and defined curls and waves without making them frizz up later on!
